Seasonality: Redfish (red drum) and spotted seatrout are the primary inshore targets at St. Simons Island in Glynn County, Georgia, year-round, with redfish best in fall and seatrout most productive in spring and fall. Southern flounder are a fall-run species. Tarpon are summer visitors to the Georgia coast. Sheepshead are cool-season structure fish.

GGuest 24 September 2020It is one of the best spots in the area, very clean with no current and not a lot of chop because of the jettys. If you hug the rocks, there is a really good left break that you can ride for a while. When there is a good swell coming in this is my #1 place to go.
