Spot Features: North Packery Jetty is the north jetty at Packery Channel in Corpus Christi Beach/Padre Island area in Nueces County, Texas, providing excellent public fishing access to the Packery Channel inlet connecting the Laguna Madre to the Gulf of Mexico, with productive redfish, spotted seatrout, flounder, black drum, and sheepshead fishing. Seasonality: Redfish (red drum) and spotted seatrout are the primary inshore targets at North Packery Jetty in Nueces County, Texas, year-round, with redfish best in fall and seatrout most productive in spring and fall. Flounder are a fall-run species. Black drum and sheepshead are cool-season species. The Packery Channel jetties are excellent fishing locations.
