Bonefish are sight-cast on the sandy flats, tarpon in the mangrove edges and deeper channels, yellowtail snapper and barracuda near the reef structure. Seasonality: Bonefish are resident on the flats adjacent to Grapetree Bay in the US Virgin Islands year-round, with the best sight-fishing conditions in spring and fall. Tarpon move through the area year-round. Yellowtail snapper and barracuda are year-round reef fish.
