Girls for Sail is the UK's leading sailing school for women and we have been running RYA sailing courses, adventures of a lifetime, world class sailing and racing events for women in the Caribbean, the UK, and everywhere in between since 1999. We are an accredited sailing school providing Royal Yachting Association (RYA) sailing courses for women in the UK and the Caribbean. Whether you're joining as an absolute beginner to sailing or racing, or are hoping to develop your skills and experience, we have courses and events for all abilities. We offer fantastic sailing weeks, racing in world-class regattas, transatlantic passages, focused skill-building weekends and fun day sailing. Shepards Wharf Marina is one of Cowes Harbour’s main marina facilities offering a full range of services and amenities suitable for yacht racing events, rallies, and catering also to the cruising sailor and powerboater. The family-friendly marina has capacity for 130 visiting boats, 40 resident berth holders, and specialises in providing dry sailing packages for day class yachts, RIBs, motorboats and trailered keelboats.

We offer a very competitive scrubbing service. We can haul out and store vessels on our own sites and we can use our cherry picker for mast work which would otherwise need the mast to be removed.

Gurnard Sailing Club is located on the shores of Gurnard Bay, a mile or so west of Cowes. The location is superb with the prevailing south westerlies providing windward starts and reaching legs to the mainland shore. The racing area is set either within Gurnard Bay for the smaller dinghies or the exciting waters of the western Solent for fast reaching and Olympic courses. The tides are strong and provide challenging conditions which makes for first-class sailing.

Fynn Marine is a local Yacht Broker, Chandlers and Charter Company based in Cowes Yacht Haven. Fynn Marine was established in 2010 as a Brokerage and Charter Company. Other Services offered include, Chandlery, Valeting, All Secure our boat check Service for absent owners and Crew Search a Data base for finding Crew.

The Brokerage department is run by Rhian Sewell and her team of three full-time Broker’s. Open seven days a week, it is the busiest office in the group – with successful sales of almost £5 million pounds worth of boats sales per annum. The moment you list your boat with this office, it is immediately available across our whole network – Falmouth to Brighton, Hamble to S France, Lymington to Palma.

Performance Yacht Racing offers you the chance to race in major regattas around the world, race yacht charters and Race skipper traineeships that provide RYA qualifications, adventure, work experience,and up to ten thousand miles of sailing.
