Now you can preview weather profiles for different sports before choosing them
We have added a preview element to the menu for selecting Weather profiles for different sports and outdoor activities. Selecting a profile is now faster and easier in Windy.app.
Weather profiles are ready-to-use sets of weather parameters for certain sports. Usually, there are around 10+ patameters in each profile. For example, yachtsmen need to know the tides, and fishermen — the sunrise and sunset. And both need air temperature, wind speed, atmospheric pressure, and more:
To select a profile, click on the icon of the sport in the menu to the right of the weather forecast models under the Wind rose:
