AAnonymous 09 February 2020Great views, quiet, few people( it is off-season), friendly people, dog friendly, beaches just a stones throw away, lighthouses and ferries are close, and it is a very relaxing area. The best season for coming is Winter Great time to be at the Outer Banks, N. C. Very few people and a great deal of the OBX to view without hordes of summer crowds. Beautiful sunrises on the Atlantic Ocean side and beautiful sunsets on the Albemarle Sound side. There are Accommodation; Bar/restaurant The best accomondation is Rental and really enjoyed it. The best meal place is The Black Pelican for food. For drink, the Lost Colony Brewery in Manteo on Roanoke Island.
