Blackwater Sailing Club is an active, family‑focused, club of over 1000 members with both cruiser and dinghy members. Our Cadet Section offers training, racing and social events for 8 to 18 year olds, culminating in an annual Cadet Week which regularly attracts over 150 participants.Our Sailing School offers training to members from our own RYA qualified instructors, covering both sail and powerboat training.
Unlike most other clubs on the river, members can bring their boats alongside the wharf, right outside the clubhouse, which is very useful for taking on supplies, crew, fresh water etc. The Club has 45 drying moorings located in front of the clubhouse and storage ashore for dinghies, wind-surfers and canoes is provided on the wharf and in dinghy racks. Members may use the club dinghy to row out to their moorings. Dinghies, canoes etc. can be launched from our slip and from our floating pontoon.

The Club offers a full sailing programme throughout the year for Dinghies, Keelboats and the cadet and novice fleet. The Winter and Frostbite Series are open events which have been run for many years attracting boats from other clubs in the area. The clubs fleet of four safety boats are used to accompany the dinghies whilst sailing.
We are an active, family friendly club situated on the south coast of the Blackwater at Maylandsea, Essex, in a sheltered creek opposite Osea Island. We offer sailing for dinghies, cruisers, kayaks and windsurfers, for all levels from novices to experts.
Interest encompasses all types of sailing, including sailboarding and canoeing, with racing organised on Sundays during the season. Since 2000 the club has each year staged the highly popular Kestrel Open. A small number of motor boats are also allowed.
Marconi Sailing Club provides great leisure and competitive sailing at all states of the tide from the River Blackwater in Essex on the East Coast of England.
Stone Sailing Club is run by and for its members with the objects of promoting and facilitating amateur yacht and dinghy racing and boat sailing, rowing and canoeing, providing opportunities for tuition and practice of the art of seamanship and providing social facilities for Members.
This Clubs safety RIB is out most weekends to support sailors, with launching at any state of the tide, what more can you ask for, other than good winds and sunshine to enjoy the best the river has to offer. The club provides racing for all classes dinghies (we regularly have at least seven boats racing out of a fleet of approximately 18!!) and has an active cruising membership. Handicap racing is also welcome with a separate start every Sunday.
