Dublin Bay Sailing Club is the largest yacht-racing organisation in Ireland and arguably in these islands. With thirteen  hundred elected members, the Club provides regular weekly racing for upwards of 320 yachts, ranging from ocean-going forty footers to single-handed dinghies.

We are the largest sail and powerboat training provider in Ireland and have been teaching people on sailing courses and powerboating courses since 1978.

A large percentage of the yacht owners at the DMYC are cruising sailors, whether it’s short trips along the coast, or passage making to Scotland. We run a number of Cruise-In-Company events over the summer months, and anyone is welcome.

SID is a small friendly club based in Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin. We offer you the opportunity to sail regularly without having to buy a boat. The club provides a fleet of dinghies (1 and 2 person boats) and three yachts (max 7 persons) for sailing activities and competitions at a very low membership fee.
