Nestled in the middle of south central Alaska lays one of the most beautiful places you could ever hope to visit, Kodiak Island. From the lush emerald green landscapes to the most pristine blue waters you have ever dreamed of. We feel blessed to be able to call this place home and look forward to sharing a little piece of heaven with you.
Our Coast Guard Base in Kodiak, Alaska, is one of the largest in the world with over 3,500 active duty, retired military, DHS civilians and family members in the area. Kodiak, also known as the "Emerald Island" is located approximately 250 miles southwest of Anchorage and is the second largest island belonging to the United States. Although considered remote from usual surroundings, Kodiak provides excellent recreational opportunities for everyone to enjoy by just stepping out your front door.
