GGuest 01 September 2021Tahoe is a wonderful getaway from the hustle-bustle of the Bay Area. Winter skiing is world class. Squaw Valley was the site of the Winter Olympics, Heavenly, Mount Rose and Incline Village offer high end facilities and service. Mackinaw sport fishing is a good way to put pristine lake trout on the grill at your campsite. Horse stables with fine mounts take you through forests; some nighttime rides put you under the crystal clear, star filled skies. You might encounter owls and bears. Mountain biking is another great way to experience the Alpine forests.Then relax in one of the many health spas around the lake. Tahoe is a one-stop wonder for high altitude getaways. Try it you’ll like it.

Then relax in one of the many health spas around the lake. All the hotel-resort-casinos have great eateries, coffee shops and fancy sit down dining. The Sushi Pier has fresh fish and nice atmosphere. The Gondola at Heavenly and the Village Squaw are great places to eat and drink outside in the dangerously fresh air. Tahoe is a one-stop wonder for high altitude getaways. Try and you’ll like it.
