The best time to visit Kite Point is summer as you just got the best wind then. The best conditions for kiting there are when there is a steady northeast wind and when there is southwest wind. The area itself is great, it could be enjoyed by any people who likes kiting. As the water stays there at the waist-high levels for hundreds of yards, you can not only kite there, but also swim, surf and do other water activities. Unfortunately, there're no restrooms or showers nearby, they could be found only at the Haulover public parking area or at the Haulover day use area.
