Plus 17,000 marinas in the WindHub app for sailors
Great news for yachting enthusiasts: we have added the basic data of 17,000 marinas — sea, lake, and even river ports — in our second app for sailors WindHub with the necessary set of all weather features in a simple and super convenient design.
You will get the following information about each marina:
- Exact name
- Geographical coordinates (longitude and latitude) in format: 41°24'12.2 "N 2°10'26.5 "E
- Phone code with a country code
- Web site
- VHF / Radio
- Type of marina: port, yacht club, fish marina, and so on
You can also call the listed phone number to get more information by clicking on the Call button.
How to find marinas in the app
1. On the Home screen, click on the wind icon, then select Marinas at the very top of the menu.
The marinas are presented in the form of icons, just like the outdoor spots in the Windy.app. The icons have an anchor on them. They are easy to find: just zoom in on the app screen to see more marinas in a certain area. And vice versa, zoom out to reduce their number on the map.
3. To hide the marinas do the same in reverse order.
