The Fishing Republic fishing tackle shop stocks a wide range of over 16,500 product lines aiming to cater for all types of fishing, be it carp, coarse, fly, game and sea.The product range extends to lines, reels, hooks, floats and flies, together with fishing accessories, such as seat boxes, sleeping bags, bivvys (bivvies), alarms, weights, fishing clothes, scales and luggage.
Tony Gostling started this business in 1980 originally as Dickinson Marine and then as Surf55. From 1985 we moved into other sports as they evolved. In 1998 we opened our new shop at Wootton Road which was much larger to accommodate all of our much loved sports . Apart from our retail sales and training we also carry out repairs and modifications to all of our products.
