The Royal Yachting Association Scotland (RYA Scotland) has two distinct roles. EDC is Edinburgh’s oldest, most established diving centre. Set up in 1979, the Centre has grown in size and reputation and now comprises a retail outlet, an equipment servicing and testing centre and a training facility.

The Cramond Boat Club has its Clubhouse and moorings at the mouth of the River Almond, only 4 miles from the centre of Edinburgh. The Club caters for all types of small craft, including dinghies, small cruisers and motorboats.
