Helm of Sun Valley has been in business in San Mateo for more then 50 years.  There aren't a whole lot of businesses that can say that and we're proud of it.  The cornerstone of our ski business is boot fitting. Most of our boot fitters have over 10 years of experience and Gary, the owner, has over 30 years of experience.  We know how to fit boots plus we do all kinds of custom fitting.   All of our employees participate in the sports that we sell and we feel it is very important to know what we are taking about.  We strive to have insightful knowledge about the sports we sell, cutting through the all the rhetoric and getting down to the nitty gritty.

Wind Over Water's professional instructors teach lessons in San Francisco Bay and Sherman Island utilizing instruction techniques developed from 75 years of combined experience. From our private dock, instructors teach using four jetskis and a boat - providing the ultimate instruction while you are riding.

Since 1988 Jeff Greenbaum and Airtime of San Francisco have taught hundreds of people how to safely fly paragliders. All of our tandem pilots hold an advanced USHPA pilot rating. Over the years we have done thousands of flights and have maintained a perfect safety record.

While we carry an extensive selection of basic fishing tackle, we are known for our specialized gear including the most rare Japanese tackle.
