The lakes feature clear, deep water, rocky substrate, and diverse structure unusual for Florida freshwater fishing. Largemouth bass are targeted with soft plastics, crankbaits, and live shiners along the rocky margins, crappie on jigs and minnows in spring, bluegill on small jigs near the banks. Daily permits are required in addition to a fishing license.
