Established since 1989 and based in Port Solent marina, Goodacre Boat Repairs and Refits are now widely regarded as being a premier exponent of the marine repair, refit / service industry.

We are a group of volunteers who meet every week to train in maritime skills that we put into practice at various key events such as; Round the Island Race, Cowes Fireworks, Pier to Pier Swims to name but a few.

The Club’s aims are to promote all aspects of amateur boating and provide social and other facilities for its members in order to achieve this. We are very much a self-help organisation and all work at the club is carried out voluntarily by the Club members. We encourage a spirit of camaraderie amongst our members and if you have a problem, there is usually someone around who is able to help.

The Portsmouth & Langstone Sailing Association represents the interests of twenty four Clubs and Associations with either premises or activities which are based on or around Portsmouth or Langstone Harbours.Membership is open to organisations which meet the criteria set out in our Constitution. Acceptance is subject to the approval of members in General Meeting.The Association has close contact with the Queens Harbour Master, Portsmouth and negotiates moorings agreements with the Crown Estates Commission on behalf of member clubs.
