New information about 10,000 marinas — another update to the Spot Info section of yachting

In the Windy.app, we are constantly improving our huge database of hundreds of thousands of outdoor spots around the world. In this new update, we have worked on the yachting section.

Here’s exactly what has improved:

First, we’ve added to the Windy.app for iOS the 17,000 marinas that previously appeared in the Android version and the WindHub yachting app. Now both apps for both mobile OS has this database (four versions in total).
Second, we’ve added a lot of new information to the section for more than 10,000 marinas, ports and docks, and piers around the world. (A side not: in total, there are more than 52,000 outdoor spots, including yachting, available in the Windy.app with information and at least a few pictures.)
Third, we again and again double-checked the entire database for possible misprints, errors, missing parts, and so on. Now it is as accurate as possible. We are continue to do it on a regular basis.

To find a marina and check the updated Spot Info section, simply enter its name or coordinates in the search field on the Home screen of the application or use the Weather Map, where you can also get marina's contacts so you don't even need to go to the weather forecast screen.

In total, there are more than 52,000 spots available in the Windy.app with information and at least a few pictures.
