Andrew Joseph Finch is an American snowboarder. Hi won U.S. Grand Prix Halfpipe Title in 2003 and 2004, took first place in the Arctic Challenge in Norway in April 2004, won the Vans Triple Crown in February 2004, the O’Neill Snowboard Jam in January 2005, and finished in second place in Northstar Resort’s Vans Tahoe Cup. In addition, Finch competed in the 2006 Winter Olympics for the United States.
We asked Andy about his favorite spots:
1. Saas Fee, Switzerland
Because it’s super fun to ride park and big mountains. The town doesn’t allow cars, it’s just plain beautiful.
Check our forecast for the spot.

2. Valle Nevado, Chile
It’s like California but upside down. Gets great snow, playful terrain and killer heli operation straight from the bottom of the mountain.

3. Sugar bowl, Tahoe
Has some of my favorite lines in the Tahoe area and doesn’t get as crazy if crowded.

4. Tahoe backcountry as a whole
Great snow, playful terrain and very accessible. We see the sun more too!
