Pavel Konstantinov is a professional meteorologist of the Windy.app team with many years of academic, research, and work experience in Russia and abroad behind his shoulders, Ph.D.
He is an assistant professor of the Department of Meteorology and Climatology of Geographical faculty at Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU) and a researcher at Smart Urban Nature Laboratory (“Smart Technologies for Sustainable Development of Urban Environment in the Conditions of Global Change”) at Peoples' Friendship University of Russia (RUDN University) in Moscow.
He has skills in the following areas: microclimatology and biometeorology, medical geography, urban planning and urban climatology (modeling of heat exchange in urban canopy) , theory of climate, climate modeling and climatology of Polar regions.
He is a member of International Association for Urban Climate (IAUC).
He is also the author of the popular weather blog "Moscow. Weather 2.0" on Instagram and other social networks. The list of his other publications include Orcid.org, Publons.com, Scopus.com, Elibrary.ru, Istina.msu.ru, and others.
