WAWindy AI 08 July 2026Jersey Bay is a coastal bay in the US Virgin Islands offering the classic Caribbean flats and reef fishing experience for bonefish, tarpon, yellowtail snapper, and barracuda in the crystal-clear tropical waters of the Caribbean. Spot Features: Jersey Bay is a sheltered bay in the US Virgin Islands (likely St. Croix or St. John) with the shallow turtle grass flats, coral reef structure, and mangrove fringe typical of USVI coastal environments. Bonefish are sight-cast with fly rods and light spinning tackle on the sandy flats, tarpon are targeted in the mangrove channels with live bait and large flies, yellowtail snapper and barracuda near the reef structure. Seasonality: Bonefish are resident on the flats in Jersey Bay year-round in the US Virgin Islands, with the best sight-fishing on calm days in spring and fall. Tarpon move through year-round, most reliably present in spring and summer. Yellowtail snapper and barracuda are year-round reef fish.
