The Malibu Makos Surf Club is a group of professionals that provide expert supervision, instruction and training in various ocean and beach activities since 1991. Our staff includes ocean lifeguards, watermen and women, surfers and educators. We offer Surf Camps, Private/Group Surf Lessons, Birthday Parties and Corporate Events for adults and children. We have more than four decades of experience on the great blue ocean in Malibu. Our team members are the most experienced and professional in the industry. We are the best on the beach, so we can offer great customer service as well as vast knowledge on all ocean sports and ocean safety. We also offer training for paddle racing and fitness.

As a local company ran by top local surfers, Malibu Surf Coach prides itself in providing not only top local wave knowledge, but access top private and semi private waves. We accommodate all sill levels from beginner to advanced.  If you are a beginner looking to improve, I highly suggest the 3 lesson package as I feel it's adequate to get you on your way.  We start off at a safe sand bottom beach. We then progress to my private intermediate waves, like the one seen here of me in this video.  We always teach at your pace, with surf safety as our number one priority.  You won't find a more local surf experience in Malibu!
