Experience Tall Ship sailing on a small, intimate scale aboard the schooner Summer Wind. At 48′ long, but limited to six passengers, the Summer Wind offers a personal sailing adventure unlike any other.

From runabouts to 90 footers, we can haul and service your boat with efficiency and safety with our 83 ton Travelift. Our 10,000 sq. ft. repair building allows us to perform all kinds of work without being influenced by the weather.

Rent a 22 foot Luxury Party Boat. Pilot the boat yourself in the no-wake zone or rent a Captain while enjoying your excursion on the water. Cruise the Inner Harbor with your own food, drinks, and music or have a local restaurant deliver your food to the dock.

Enjoy your personal fishing guide on the Chesapeake Bay. You and your quests will be cruising the Maryland Sector of the Chesapeake Bay, casting flies or lures, to catch striped bass and other saltwater species.

The Downtown Sailing Center (DSC) is an award-winning, nonprofit 501 (c)(3) community sailing center offering sailing instruction and access to sailing through a variety of programming to the Greater Baltimore Community since 1994. We are located in the heart of Baltimore at the Baltimore Museum of Industry, within easy walking distance from the Downtown, Federal Hill, South Baltimore, Riverside, and Locust Point neighborhoods.

n 2003, our flagship store was born in Fells Point, MD and since then, we have grown to add locations in Bethany Beach and Dewey Beach, DE.

We are offering American Sailing Association (ASA) Sailing Lessons at our ASA Certified Baltimore Sailing School located in Downtown Baltimore.
