The primary mission of PYSF is to coach, teach and nurture youth sailors in the Bay Area and particularly on the Peninsula. We strive to provide a fun, safe environment in which kids can prosper in the sport.

Sequoia Yacht Club has been active in boating for over 75 years. SYC is a member of the Pacific Inter-Club Yacht Association (PICYA) and is affiliated with US Sailing and the Yacht Racing Association of San Francisco Bay, SBYRA. We have a large active cruising fleet, both small and large boat racing, an award-winning junior sailing program, and a variety of social events. Our comfortable facility, with guest berthing, is located at the Port of Redwood City and is accessible to members 24 hours a day.

The staff at Spinnaker Sailing consists of a group of dedicated professionals who have many years of sailing experience and many areas of expertise. They are knowledgeable sailors and great communicators, making learning to sail, safe and enjoyable. Over the years we have taught thousands of students to sail and in doing so established ourselves as leaders in sailing education. Our Learn to Sail Guarantee is our way of assuring you that you will be able to sail confidently on your own when you successfully complete your courses.

California Fly Shop has been in business for over 25 years. From our humble roots 25 years ago to the 4,500 square foot store we have today, our focus has been on preparing our customers to fly fish the world. And while California has lots of blue ribbon water in our backyard, our customers and Pro Staff regularly travel to South America, the American West, Alaska and even Europe. We carry all of the major brands, most of whom still build their products in the USA. From Hatch and Galvan reels, to Sage, Winston and Scott rods, to bags, waders and clothing from Patagonia and Simms, we have the gear you need to go fishing. Fly fishing on stillwater? We have pontoon boats and float tubes to get you safely across the lake.
