Tackle Up's first shop was opened on Walton High Street Felixstowe in 2000, and after a 2 years we needed to expand to bigger premises, we relocated to Bridge road in Felixstowe in 2002 and we have been expanding the range of products that we stock ever since, through our website, eBay and now Amazon as well.

Felixstowe Ferry Sailing Club provides great leisure and competitive sailing at all states of the tide from the River Deben in Suffolk on the East Coast. Our club has been the host of many large classes such as Fireflys, Dart 18s, 505s for their nationals and is well known throughout the catamaran sailing community. No matter what you sail, whether it’s a windsurfer, kitesurfer, cruiser, mono-hull or multi-hull we will welcome you with open arms to a great sailing and social club. We have a thriving Youth Sailing section which caters for our younger members and a new 18-25 group for our more adventurous students.

SYH is the East Coast's leading independent marina, with 550 berths. Visiting yachtsmen will receive a warm welcome at our famous lightship, clubhouse of the Haven Ports Yacht Club.

Golden-Eye is a new 785S Ribeye Sport, launched new May 2009. It is a ridged inflatable boat, similar to that used by the RNLI. It is powered by a Yamaha 250 H/P V6 Four Stroke outboard. Producing awsome speeds in excess of 50 knots. A trip on this is the most exillerating safe experience you can have on water. From the ultimate high speed manuvers to a rough white water rides to gentle cruising.

Whether your interest are racing, cruising, power-boating or simply social you will not be disappointed with what is on offer at the HPYC. Our clubhouse, Lightvessel 87 offers a great atmosphere with excellent food and of course a friendly welcome from our Steward and his team. The East Anglian Sailing Trust (EAST), provides disabled East Anglians and their carers with regular opportunities to access and enjoy sailing activities whilst promoting enhanced independence, confidence and community involvement. EAST has no paid staff, and relies totally on its volunteers. This is supplemented by the continuing support it receives from local sailing organisations and their members, as well as funding from a number of sources, both local and national.
