Wingra Boats has enjoyed providing the Madison community with fun, safe, and inexpensive outdoor entertainment since the 1950s. We have grown from a couple of canoes to a rental fleet of over 100 boats of all types since then. We now rent canoes, kayaks, rowboats, paddle boats, stand up paddle boards, a multi person SUP, watermat and fishing poles. Wingra Boats provides several additional services to make accessing beautiful Lake Wingra easier - we offer memberships, private dockage, boat repair, and party and event hosting. card

We offer more than 120 different boats and sailboards for our members. These are spread between 8 different fleets and comprised of 15 different types of crafts. As a member you'll receive unlimited instruction (so no prior sailing knowledge or ability is required) and once you have your rating on a particular boat you'll have unlimited access to go sailing during regular club hours.

Hoofer SCUBA Club joined Hoofers in 1978, and is an organization of UW-Madison students, staff, and Union members who share a common interest in diving and learning about the underwater world. Our members benefit from high quality classes, regular club dive trips, affordable equipment and tank rentals, and the opportunity to meet new friends and dive buddies at our many events and our weekly socials.
