Babylon Yacht Club was founded in 1903 for two purposes, "...to encourage members to become proficient in the handling of their yachts," and "...to promote sociability and recreation among its members."

The Captree Fleet is the largest Fishing Fleet on Long Island. Member’s boats include Open Boats, Charter Boats, Sightseeing Boats and Dive Boats.

BSYC is a small, private, all-volunteer organization located on the Great South Bay.

The Island Princess offers Half Day Fishing Trips daily from March through November. Fishing in season for Fluke, Flounder, Weakfish, Stripers, Bluefish, Blackfish, Sea Bass and Porgies.

The Dunewood Yacht Club offers a long tradition of sailing instruction for a wide range of ages and all skill levels. It is one of the only sailing programs on Fire Island and is a staple of the Fire Island community.
