We’ve added the AROME model to Windy.app

By popular demand, we've added the AROME weather forecast model to our app.

The AROME is a model that was developed to improve short-term forecasts of dangerous and especially dangerous weather events, such as intense Mediterranean precipitation, heavy storms, fogs, and urban heat. The grid spacing is 1.3 km.

The model was developed by the Meteo-France Meteorological Bureau and covers mainly the territory of France, and partly the territory of Great Britain, Italy and Spain.

To see the forecast by the model, open the necessary spot and select AROME.
