We are an active friendly BSAC registered diving club based in Cambridge with around 57 members. We organise dive trips every year to various locations around the UK and abroad and also regularly dive the North Norfolk coast from our two club boats. We also have our own compressor with free air fills available to members (Not commercial diving club)
The Lower Boats Captains are ready to begin coaching the novices, and we are all looking forward to seeing the next generation of rowers at Christ’s begin to progress.
The Lady Margaret Boat Club is the rowing club for members of St. John's College, Cambridge. LMBC is sponsored by Oliver Wyman. Oliver Wyman is a leading global management consultancy. At the Lady Margaret Boat club we compete at all levels from novices to seniors and each boat is important to us.
QCBC is the biggest society of Queens’ College and provides all current students of the college with the opportunity to row and/or cox, with any level of prior experience.All senior crews and almost all novice crews race for Queens’. Our main focus is bumps, however we enter numerous other races throughout the year in a variety of formats.
The club also hosts the college’s fireworks night, runs the boatie cocktails, swaps regularly with the boat clubs of other colleges and runs the termly Boat Club Dinners. Anyone is welcome to row for Caius.
The Boathouse also provides changing and land training facilities for members.The club enters a variety of crews in all the main College events on the Cam as well as events away from the Cam such as the Tideway Heads on the Thames.
It is a friendly and socially active boat club which encourages people of all abilities and fitness to take part. This is an exciting term for new and older members of the boat club. Novice rowers learn a completely new skill for free while senior rowers have an opportunity to coach and engage at all levels of the club.
Cambridge ’99s was started in 1899. Our modern facility houses an extensive range of boats and training equipment. We welcome all abilities and levels of commitment in our adult and junior squads. We compete on the Cam, local and national races, including Henley.
The association is the umbrella organisation for all local affiliated rowing Clubs in the county of Cambridgeshire. It looks after the interests of the local rowing community as well as providing facilities and events for them.
We have squads that compete at all levels of competition around the UK.CCRC runs regular adult beginner rowing courses.The club is focused on sweep rowing (one oar each) and this is all we teach on the beginners course
