The Shelter Island Yacht Club, established in the summer of 1886, has the distinction of being one of the oldest clubs in North America. The founding members were business and professional men from Manhattan and Brooklyn who had summer residences in Shelter Island Heights. Their purpose was to further recreational sailing, racing, water sports festivals, extended cruises, and social fellowship.
Peconic Water Sports is the premier Wakeboard, Waterski, Fishing and Charter company on Long Island's North Fork. This location is the stepping off point for all of our boat charters in the Hamptons. Wakeboarding, Waterskiing, Wakesurfing, Tubing, Fishing and Water Sports Camp are all available at this location.
Join our program for action-packed days filled with water-based activities. Wakeboarding, Waterskiing, Tubing, Surfing, Kneeboarding, Wakesurfing, and Wakeskating instruction is available.
