H&DSC is a warm and friendly sailing club. All the club work is carried out by members who volunteer to do the jobs, from litter picking and mowing to building the club house itself, and of course running the bar. We have a full race calendar and plenty of social trips from simple evening barbeques and overnighters to fleet cruises away. Many of our members have sailed all their lives and have a world of experience that new members can tap into.
Harwich Town Sailing Club, is a warm friendly sailing club committed to promoting sailing as an all round family activity in all it's forms, from championship racing to pottering about in and around the harbour area. Over the years, the club has helped many sailors become national and even world champions in their class.

Golden-Eye is a new 785S Ribeye Sport, launched new May 2009. It is a ridged inflatable boat, similar to that used by the RNLI. It is powered by a Yamaha 250 H/P V6 Four Stroke outboard. Producing awsome speeds in excess of 50 knots. A trip on this is the most exillerating safe experience you can have on water. From the ultimate high speed manuvers to a rough white water rides to gentle cruising.

The East Anglian Sailing Trust (EAST), provides disabled East Anglians and their carers with regular opportunities to access and enjoy sailing activities whilst promoting enhanced independence, confidence and community involvement. EAST has no paid staff, and relies totally on its volunteers. This is supplemented by the continuing support it receives from local sailing organisations and their members, as well as funding from a number of sources, both local and national.
