Get the night weather forecast. Here's what you might need it for

In the Windy.app, you can now get the nighttime weather forecast for outdoor activities in additon to the daytime forecast, which is available from 6 am to 9 pm. The night forecast is in between.

Who might need it and why? Lots of people, lots of situations:

Yachtsmen and fishermen, for example, often go out to sea early in the morning, late evening or even at night because, in general, during the day the fish go to the bottom — there is no bite.
Many mountaineering expeditions go to the tops of the high mountains well before sunrise so that they can get to the summit in the midday and get back to base camp before dark. In particular, that's what always happens on Everest.
Surfers will also appreciate the new feature because to do this sport at night is quite possible, even if it sounds challenging. Have you seen the famous 1991 movie on surfing “Point Break”?
Travelers and tourists on long trips often find themselves at night in the cities during the transfers or walk through it after the sunset on purpose in the summertime, when it's too hot to walk around during the day.

How to activate Night Forecast feature for the spot

1. From the Home Screen of the app or from the Weather Profiles Screen, go to the Main Settings, then to Units.

2. Choose “Yes” next to “Show night time.”

2. Go back to the spot: you now see the forecast from 9 pm to 6 am. For example, this is what it looks like for Barcelona, Spain:

Important clarification: the new feature concerns the forecast table for the spot. On the Weather Map, the night forecast in three-hour step was available before.
