Spot Features: Nantucket Sound Monomoy refers to the waters of Nantucket Sound adjacent to Monomoy National Wildlife Refuge at the elbow of Cape Cod in Barnstable County, with excellent striped bass, bluefish, summer flounder, black sea bass, and scup fishing in the legendary rips and productive waters. (Related to 414623 Monomoy.) Seasonality: Striped bass and bluefish are the primary targets at Nantucket Sound off Monomoy in Barnstable County, Massachusetts (related to 414623 Monomoy and 498280 Vineyard Sound), from May through October, with stripers best in spring and fall and bluefish most abundant in summer. Summer flounder, black sea bass, and scup are warm-season bottom species.
