As the summer has begun, we've updated the list of the great all-inclusive dive resorts all over the world where the high-level apartments are combined with the best diving. It is going to be useful for those divers who are traveling with family or non-diver friends, who are looking for the perfect match of all-inclusive service and rich marine life.

Let see what to choose as your next vacation stop. 

Important: Given the still difficult travel situation in the world in 2022, check separately the possibility of going to a particular country, its regions, and local outdoor spots for you before the trip on the official tourist and other sites.

Cozumel Island, Mexico

Cozumel is one of the Mexican Islands in the Caribbean Sea. In the south, there is one of the biggest reefs in the world – The Palankar Reef. More than 250 spices of fish are living there, but the main difference of this reef from others is the huge amount of caves, coral tunnels and a variety of marine life such as stingrays, sharks, and barracudas. 

Dive sites are suited only for professional divers because there is a strong current. Most of the dives are drift dives, so divers will need a special certificate. 

Besides diving, you can visit one of the Mexican National Parks and ruins of the Mayan civilization.

Playa del Coco (Guanacaste), Costa Rica

Costa Rica is a paradise for divers. You hardly will find a diver who doesn’t want to go there. On the north of the country, there are the islands of Catalina and Bat Islands. Catalina is interesting with its volcanic caves and arches. Bat Islands is interesting for marine life such as sharks, stingrays, dolphins and even whales. 

Also, in Costa Rica, there is a place that attracts thousands of divers every year called Cocos Islands. Cocos Islands are found 500 kilometers from the beach. Usually divers rent dive boats to go there. The rich underwater life is incredible and includes sharks, marlins, sailing fish and whale flocks. 

All of these beauties are on the Pacific coast. But Costa Rica is also washed by the Caribbean Sea which has lots of amazing dive sites also.

Punta Cana, Dominican Republic

Punta Cana is a place of luxury hotels, but also there is a huge coral reef along the coast with more than 40 spices of fish and lots of animals. Caves with stalactites and interesting wrecks are also worth seeing here. All these dive sites are situated 30 meters from the hotel beaches. 

If you want to see more underwater sights of The Dominican Republic, go to the wreck St George. It provides unforgettable emotions when you dive inside the huge cargo hall more than 10 meters high.  You can also visit the wreck Atlantic Princess which was specially flooded for divers in 2008. There are also good dive sites located at Catalina Island.

Ari Atoll, Maldivesv

Maldives Islands are not only famous for their luxury resorts, but also for incredible diving sites with sharks and manta rays. There are so many big fishes that sometimes you can find sharks next to your bungalow on the way to breakfast. 

The best dive sites are situated on the central islands. One of them is Ari Atoll. This is better place for relax diving. There is no strong current like on the other Maldives dive sites, so here you can start to get acquainted with scuba diving. Here you can dive with whale sharks and hammerhead sharks, watch magnetic dance of manta rays, and see tuna and barracuda flocks.

Sharm-el-Sheikh, Egypt

If you think that Egypt doesn’t deserve to be on this list, don’t be so sure. The Red sea sometimes is even more interesting for diving then the Caribbean coast. Hotels here are also suited for different tastes. The Red Sea has worldwide fame for its coral reefs and vivid marine life. There are lots of special dive sites to meet dolphins, turtles, different kinds of sharks, manta rays and of course there are lots of wreck dive sites. 

The most famous is Tiselgorm. It was a British cargo ship which was crippled by The Luftwaffe in 1941. The ship is lying at a depth of 16 to 35 meters. Inside the ships hold there are lots of munition stuff  like soldiers’ shoes, motorbikes and boxes with rifles.

North Sulawesi, Indonesia

All islands in Indonesia are good for diving, but North Sulawesi is ideal for all-inclusive vacations in luxury hotels and a good diving. On the north of the Island there are more than 150 dive sites. Bunaken National Marine Park includes clear water, good reefs and wide diversity of the fish that make this place attractive for divers. 

Next to Molas Beach there is a wreck dive site called Molas. Molas was a Holland cargo ship that sank during the Second World War.

Lizard Island, Australia

The place which attracts divers in Australia is the Great Barrier Reef, which is the biggest reef in the world. It’s 2300 kilometers long and consists of several thousand little reefs and hundreds of islands. There are approximately 350 kinds of corrals in the world and on the Great Barrier Reef you will be able to see 340 of them. This spot is the dream of each diver. 

The best way to dive here is a dive safari, but if you don’t have such as opportunity it’s better to stay on the Lizard Island. There is a deluxe hotel that occupies the whole island, so you even don’t need to leave your hotel to have the best diving in the world.

Turneffe Island, Belize

Beliz Barrier Reef is one of the biggest in the world. One of its islands is Tuneffe island. Its shores are full of corals and little fish, sharks and turtles. There is also a sunken ship named Sayonara – a big 18 meter long wreck. 

Next to Turneffe Atoll there is a Lighthouse Reef which is also worth seeing. It’s full of the world’s best coral gardens. In the middle of the reef is Blue Hole. Blue Hole is a huge natural, blue underwater pit with a depth of almost 135 meters. 33 meters inside Blue Hole there is a stalactites cave where you can meet reef sharks.

Trou Aux Biches & Grand Baie, Mauritius

Mauritius is an island In Indian Ocean. Is surrounded by the big coral reef which is full of different fish. But the best conditions for diving are on the north. On the depth there are lots of caves, canyons and tunnels. 

Around the island there are 20 wrecks. Turtles, different sharks and barracudas are also living here. But lots of divers are coming to Mauritius for diving with cachalots.

Nassau, Bahamas

Bahamas islands are full of good dive sites. You will not be disappointed if you choose this place for your vacation. Stay at the 5 stars hotels in the Nassau city – the capital of Bahamas. 

In one hour boat ride from the New Province region there is a yellow byou. Lots of dive boats are coming here to see a silk shark. 

If you like James Bond saga this place is also for you. On the west part of the island there is dive site – “Volcano bomber”, which was specially flooded for the cinema “Thunderball”. 

The other thing attracts divers on Bahamas is a close contact with sharks. On some of the dive sites you can even feed these animals by your hand. This is unforgettable felling to stay on the sand on your knees and look how the sharks are twirling under your head.
