Precipitation in Weather history. Now it has four major weather parameters

Check the last update of 2021 — Precipitation in Weather history. This extremely important weather parameter is now available for each day for the past nine years (2020–2012).

But that's only half of this good news. The second is that all three major weather parameters are now available in the weather history. In addition to precipitation, these are wind (speed, direction, and gust) and air temperature. Plus, there is atmospheric pressure, as well. So in total, there are four of the eight-ten main weather parameters, which is about a half.

The Weather history feature was first introduced in the app on September 19, 2019. Since January 22, 2021, it is provided by the best weather model in the world, ECMWF.

How to find precipitation in weather history in the Windy.app

1. Open your favorite spot or the nearest one to your current location. Let's take sailing and windsurfing spot Riva del Garda in Italy as an example.

2. Scroll the screen down a bit until the Archive section and open it.

3. Check the precipitation forecast at the bottom of the screen. On this screen, this is the amount of precipitation for the month.

4. To see the data for each day of the month, click on "Detailed archive" at the bottom of the screen.
