Weather history is now available for 2021, ten past years in total

We have added the year 2021 to the weather history. You can now access historical weather data for the past 10 years, starting from 2012.

The weather history feature can be found in the app below the forecast table in the Archive section, as well as on the website for absolutely all spots.

Weather history is a unique feature in the you won't find it in most other mobile apps. More: already from 2020, we give you a completely different weather history — reanalysis of the ECMWF — #1 global weather forecast model, which works "backward" in time and processes all available weather observations made in past. The result is comprehensive retrospective weather data for any point on Earth for every 3 hours in the past 10 years.

The following weather parameters are available to you in the weather history (* website):

  • Wind speed and wind gusts*
  • Day and night air temperatures for each day*
  • Amount of precipitation
  • Atmospheric pressure at sea level

The same works for the Wind history feature on the Weather map in the app, where it is available among the main map layers.
