Ilya Drigo is a professional meteorologist, developer, and researcher from Moscow, Russia, with 10 years of experience.
He has a Bachelor’s degree in Oceanography, Meteorology and Hydrology from the Faculty of Geography of the Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU), the main one in Russia, and Master’s degree in Computational and Applied Mathematics from the Institute of Precision Mechanics and Optics (ITMO University) in Saint Petersburg.
Besides being Windy.app’s chief meteorologist for almost two years, he was a part-time hydrometeorology engineer at the Marine Research Center of the same MSU.
His favorite sports are hiking and sailing.
