With the biggest update of the summer, starting with the Windy.app's new version 11.1 from July 28, 2022, for iOS two new weather profiles for foiling and diving are available, including hundreds of spots for the latter.
A weather profile is a ready-made set of weather elements and data important for a particular sport. Previously, the app had 11 such profiles, the purpose of which can easily be guessed from their names: Sail, Kite, Windsurf, Surf, Fish, Fish Pro, Air, Ski, Bike, Lite, and Expert. Now there are 13 of them, including Foil and Dive.
Updated on September 13, 2022: the features now also available for Andoroid.

Foil is short for foiling. It’s a popular sport whose name comes from the word “hydrofoil,” an underwater fin attached to surfboards, SUPs, and all such, or to the bottom of a boat. The fin literally lifts you above the surface of the water when you move, either by the force of the wind, of the wave itself, or of an electric motor, as in the case of e-foiling. Essentially foiling is a form of surfing, including kitesurfing and windsurfing, as well as yachting. So the same spots are suitable for foiling as for surfing and sailing.
The weather profile includes the following 10 elements:

Dive is short for diving. It is also a popular sport that involves diving in a variety of ways in order to enjoy and explore the underwater world. The diving varieties fall into two large groups: without equipment for holding breath (free diving) and with equipment for artificial respiration (snorkeling, scuba diving, and others). Almost any deep enough reservoirs are suitable for diving, but the cleaner the water in them, the better visibility, so it is usually a large lake, sea or ocean. Popular diving spots are caves, reefs, and shipwrecks. There are also dive resorts, which may include more that one spot.
The weather profile includes the following 13 elements:
1. To activate a profile, click on the icon to the right of the list of weather models under the wind rose on the spot page. Select Foil or Dive. Get the weather forecast you are used to in the table. You can also add weather items from other profiles and create your own.

2. To find a spot, type its name or geographic coordinates in the search box on the Home screen or select the type of spot you want in the Weather Map's Settings. New dive spots are marked by a mask and snorkel icon. As with the other spots, many of them have a spot info section with basic information.
